The only sound you hear comes from a light breeze that caresses your senses. Now open your eyes. You see just two colors: the blue sky and the brown sand, creating the most beautiful contrast your eyes can see. In the evening, two camels rest peacefully with the sun setting against the orange sky.

These pictures were taken in the Arabian Peninsula, between Oman and Abu Dhabi, with the exception of the sunset camels, photographed near Jaisalmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan, not too far from the border with Pakistan.

In the middle of the desert, at the border with Abu Dhabi, I discovered this authentic camel market, where hundreds of camels competed for my attention with the funniest facial expressions.
