Foliage in Vermont is all the way up there, among the most magnificent sights to please one’s eye. Every autumn, Vermont’s hills turn intensely red, orange and gold. This is the result of a particular variant of sugar maple, combined with unique soil and climate conditions.

Very early one morning, I photographed Lake Belvidere, north of Stowe. As the mist was lifting from the water into the clouds, the intense color of the leaves started to reflect on the lake. I’d like to share this with you all…
