The strain of daily life can be seen in this collection of beautiful African hands. Each image tells its own story, from the vigorous male hands to the lady touching colorful peppers, from the young girl with dark nails to the woman milling flower with a stick.

These photos are from Mali and Burkina Faso, in West Africa. They represent just a sample of the countless hand photographs I took during a recent trip.
