This is the result of a particular variant of sugar maple, combined with unique soil and climate conditions.
During foliage, the golden leaves of Vermont’s maples, when reflected in the water of ponds, rivers and lakes, produce outstanding reflections that look like paintings from impressionist painters. Think Monet!
